Arrangements and information for home/school

If students need accommodations, we as a school need information as soon as possible. This could be in connection with reading and writing difficulties or chronic/long-term illness, for example.

There is no automatic transfer of information between middle schools and upper secondary schools. Students/guardians must therefore provide us with good information, with subsequent documentation, so that we at Metis can provide the student with good support.

Individually tailored training (ITO)

If an ITO is needed, Vestland County is responsible for preparing an expert assessment and making a decision on the ITO.

Social advisor Geir Oskar Silseth (Gosken) leads the school's resource team, and follows up on the collaboration with Vestland County with a view to expert assessments and decisions. Gosken can be contacted here: geir.oskar.silseth@metis.no
