Safe and good learning environment
At Metis we take the time to get to know each other. We know that safety and well-being are among the most important framework factors for learning to take place. Read what our students say about the school.
Metis is part of the MOT program, and works every day to prevent social challenges and exclusion among children and young people. The goal is to build an inclusive classroom and school environment, as well as increase young people's awareness of their own choices and opportunities.
Right in the city center
Our school is located at Lars Hilles gate 17, midway between Grieghallen and Bystasjonen. As a student, you are close to all public transport options. Our location also means that we can use cultural activities and businesses in the city center for a varied school day.
Block days
As a student at Metis High School, you will experience a different school day. You will mostly have one subject per day, so-called block days. This gives you peace and time to immerse yourself in one subject at a time. Read more about our school here.
Private tutor
