
Hva er Erasmus+?
It is an EU/EEA programme, managed in Norway by DIKU. Erasmus+ Strategic Partnerships support professional cooperation in Europe to develop, exchange and test innovative practices and pedagogical methods. The aim is to strengthen the quality of education at all levels of education and learning across borders.
New projects 2023-2027: Erasmus+ Accreditation
New projects 2023-2027: Erasmus+ Accreditation which is a tool for education and training organizations that want to open up for exchange and cooperation across borders. Metis is proud to have received accreditation 2023-2027 and we started the first international project in August 2023.
Erasmus + Strategic partnership
The EU's Erasmus+ Strategic Partnership Programme is organised by DIKU, the national office in Norway. The aim of the international projects is to develop and share innovative practices and promote cooperation within education.

Three classes from Metis will participate in the project: 1sta, 1stb and 1idra, as part of their English lessons.
Dates and host nations for student mobility:
29/9-4/10 2023: Denmark
11/3-15/3 2024: Portugal – 15 students from 1idra/1stb will participate.
20/5-24/5 2024: Netherlands – 15 students from 1sta will participate.
23/9-27/9 2024: Norway – Metis will welcome students from our partner schools.
Job shadowing dates are not yet set. However, we plan for 4 or 6 Metis teachers to shadow colleagues at the partner schools. Metis will also receive teachers for job shadowing.
13 students from Metis (1stb and 1idra) participated in the student mobility to Lisbon, where they collaborated with 28 students from the Netherlands and 15 students from the host school.
Metis has won the EU award for the Erasmus+ project Moltam (2017-2020), the “2021 European Innovative Teaching Award”.

Each partner school worked on different sub-topics and prepared a presentation to be shared in Alytus.

Citizens Inquiry: Young Citizens for Change – developing Environmental Activism in Young People through creative Citizen Inquiry.
We combined two Erasmus+ projects, Elmo and Citizens Inquiry and met in Valencia, Spain 4-9 April 2022.
