Copenhagen 2025

Students from Metis Upper Secondary School in Bergen participated in a five-day Erasmus+ exchange program with Greve Gymnasium in Copenhagen, Denmark, focusing on historical, cultural and societal connections between Denmark and Norway. The program is titled Stories about Denmark-Norway and consists of group assignments, excursions and presentations.

Students work in groups on various topics, such as royal traditions, resistance movements during World War II, Viking Age history, military cooperation and women's rights. The assignments result in creative presentations with their own photos, film clips and possible interviews.

The program included a visit to the Norwegian Embassy, a treasure hunt at the National Museum of Denmark, lectures at Greve Gymnasium and educational programs in Tivoli. The exchange promotes cross-border cooperation, critical thinking and European identity, and concluded with student presentations and joint social activities with fellow Danish students.
