Málaga 2025

In March 2025, Spanish teachers Ann Kristin Juvkam and Bjørg Ane Ferkingstad Sandve from Metis upper secondary school participated in an Erasmus+ job shadowing stay at the AIL school in Málaga, Spain. During three intensive days, they observed Spanish teaching and participated in pedagogical discussions with local teachers. The visit provided valuable insight into student-centered teaching methods, with a strong focus on language immersion, high expectations, and active student participation. Inspired by the stay, the Metis teachers plan to integrate more varied methods and digital tools to strengthen motivation and learning outcomes in their own classrooms.
