Milan 2025
From 23 to 28 March 2024, students from Metis vgs, Bergen, participated in an Erasmus+ mobility project organized by the Istituto di Istruzione Superiore “Evangelista Torricelli” in Milan. The project Overconsumption and Environmental Consequences consisted of both preparatory work at home and a 4-day program in Italy. Before the trip, the students watched the documentary Buy Now and worked on reflection tasks related to the topic.
During their stay, the Norwegian and Italian students collaborated on group projects in the field of sustainability. The program included visits to the MUDEC museum, the photo exhibition Climate Change: A Journey to the Edge of the World, and the sustainable clothing organization Vesti Solidale, among others. They also visited famous places such as Bosco Verticale and attended a book launch about green careers.
The stay provided a nice combination of academic learning, cultural exchange and socializing. At the end of the stay, the students presented their projects and received Erasmus+ certificates. All in all, this was an educational and memorable trip that provided both professional and personal benefits.
