Here you can read which application criteria apply when securing a place at Metis top sports: Admissions regulations_Metis_vgs.pdf
Applicants for top sports Vg1 must complete and submit a separate attachment to the application and also submit a statement from their coach confirming the information in the attachment. The same applies to external applicants for top sports Vg2 and Vg3.
For the school year 21-22, the following quotas were set for admission to Vg1.
-
The average for Top Sports varies from year to year.
For applicants to VG1, grades from lower secondary school will be weighted 50% and athletic qualifications 50%. Applicants to Metis High School Top Sports are assessed based on the individual's sport and do not compete for the same places.
Each sport has its own quotas, which are determined before admission each year. The applicants' athletic qualifications are described in an attachment and sent by email to the school.
The athletic requirements are described based on quality requirements prepared by Olympiatoppen. The school reserves the right to conduct an entrance exam where the applicant's athletic requirements (motivation, physical and social characteristics, etc.) can be demonstrated.
Some have high school grades, others have high sports ratings, and some have both. The most important thing is to apply!
